Personally i try to focus on more current times basically since the day's of MLK, JFK and Malcom X.

This kid is not getting it, the police choking out and gunning down black people for no reason, it's not how we dress or how we act, it is literally for just being black, that boy was not engaging in any criminal activity that warranted such a reaction. And that war has been going on for years. Especially now that there are more blacks in positions of power, there are a group of people who are not with that and they are rebelling. Violence is normally the first thing you do out of fear and this particular group of people feel like the country doesn't belong to them anymore. And our music, the music that's supposed to be about what's going on in our neighborhoods and our lives, is just reflecting a life of fun and happiness and carefree days
