i thik he's a good producer. and a pretty good artist. seems he really started to gain popularity as a solo artist w/ 'days before the rodeo.' which is sonically quite differnt than owl pharroh. im guessing he was no longer under this guys umbrella at the time. plenty artists have stories from scorned former friends who helped them come up. i doubt this will hurt him. nothing we havent heard before. and i honestly i dont care. if the album is hot, imma bump it. now if the rape allegations pan out and someone comes forward, its over for the guy. anything else is all the hearsay. im not trying to be travis' friend, just trying to be entertained. so,

on January 3, 2013I don't usually comment on sites like this but I had to. I've known Travis for quite some time. I was in the studio with him and chess even back when they were recording the Cruisin' USA mixtape. Travis got everything done for free. I saw it. Chess paid all the studio bills and Travis even crashed at Chess's house and used his equip. He "borrowed" an $800 MPC midi controller and never gave it back. He went off to LA and left Chess with nothing, even stole things from him. He completely forgot his roots. He won't even answer my texts even though I helped him get props and shoots back in the day. I prefer to stay anonymous but ask anyone close to Travis growin up and they'll tell youall of this is true. He even went to my highschool. Elkins High School down in Mo City, burb of Houston. So I have to say, everything Shane said about him, I honestly agree with. This !!!!! is a complete as*hole. He even raped some underage chick in the movie theater. If the cops had found out, he woulda never been where he's at. All I gotta say is.. fu*k Travis Scott. Never forget your roots.

I heard a lot of praise for this nikka in the last couple of years, then I went to check his music out, and found out that he's one of those artists that – should they be a genius – take some effort getting used to and appreciated for what they do. So I never really fukked with his music.

But to not even have blown up yet and already have rape allegations on your trail? I'm not sure that's an entertainer I wanna get behind. Specially when he hasn't done anything positive to the community or any person really that I've heard yet.

On some real shyt, I'm starting to think that I really don't need more "talented" nikkas to break through the music industry. I want more nikkas with "integrity", nikkas that stand up for something. So a "talented" nikka getting slandered out of the industry doesn't really do much to me these days.
