That’s the point. Roles are reversed.
Simone sees her man as a male baddie and made the move. That’s why he was talking like that in that interview! And I’m not tripping because the Black men sitting in that room interviewing him all gave him incredulous looks for a reason.
Travis sees his girl as a baddie and treats her as such, and that’s why her ass is carrying on this way. Any other groupie he might have picked up off the street would sit there with her mouth closed and collected the gifts and money. This girl is acting this way because this man has put her on that pedestal.
Women thought it was weird that a highly visible and famous female athlete had a hubby telling the world that she basically chased him. But he’s the “baddie” in the relationship so men say it’s ok.
Well this highly talented young man sees his woman as the prize and treats her as such, which is why she acts the way she does.
So the super-talented woman who isn’t considered the finest, it’s cool for her man to be the baddie in the relationship, but the super-talented guy who chose up on his “type” or the girl of his dreams isn’t supposed to treat her like the prize? Again, I agree, this girl talks too damn much, but the point is she’s comfortable acting like this because she’s the woman he wants.
She isn’t protecting his ego like Jonathan didn’t protect Simone’s.
And the thing is Simone and Travis are both fine with their unions!
So women and men shouldn’t be commenting on either of them.

Because both women and men found certain things offensive with both couples. And just because y’all don’t see things the way we do, doesn’t make it any less valid.
At the end of the day, they say they’ve been together for 5 years? They are locked in and extremely comfortable with each other.
