And maybe it's the sunshine and plam trees, but the area doesn't even really look that bad. I was expecting Crenshaw/Slauson to be hood hood like we have in Dallas. There's some decent to nice looking houses over there.

2. LA hoods don’t have to “look hood”. You can still get smoked over there.

Remember it’s still Los Angeles, highly coveted real estate. Someone people live over there in houses with landscaped yards and some live in fukked up apartments.
