So I've just booked a trip to South Africa. Most of the trip I will be by myself but I do have a friend who will be there for work who I will hang with a portion of my trip. This is my first semi solo trip so its exciting and unsettling at the same time. But I got tired of my friends only wanting to do Miami/Vegas every trip so I had to venture out on my own.

I will be there for 12 days, flying into Joburg Thursday to meet my friend. Seems like yall been to a lot of places, help me out. What you suggest. I am pretty open to anything. Daps forthcoming.

make sure you checkout the lion park bout 45 min by car from the city center,apartheid museum is a good one, emerarentia dam is a chill place. Safari,zoos is a must also check out the village tours in soweto. joburgs a nice place.

Edit: victoria falls should def be top of the list.

I heard the safaris nearby in soweto are dope and i have some info on amusement parks and sh1t but im looking for non touristy things...

When in DBN, you must go to Johnny's Rotis at 4am after clubbing. the food is so

Also if you looking to pick up visit the more trendy bars malabar or aruba lounge in joburg.

My thinking was i could see J-Berg/Durbin or CapeTown on this trip but not all 3 because of time and distance...Durbin looks really nice in all the pics and videos i have seen...

I hear Durban is the truth; wasnt able to go when I was in Jo'Burg earlier this year check out Carnivore (I think thats the name) all you can eat style and worth the cost

dont get caught slippin out that way ....my homie brother flew to africa to do this fixed marriage type deal for somebody that he knew, and when he get over there this devilish lookin african dude had tried to drug em up, but the drugs aint take full effect i guess cse my homie bro was kinda of a big dude

Flying somewhere for a fixed marriage just sounds shady to begin with. I am just going over there to be exposed to the local culture, party, and have fun
