:mjlol: at nikkas thinking they can go anywhere and be okay just because they're Black

Around the world, you are an AMERICAN. Colombians, Portugese, Dominicans, or whoever else yall lust over- they don't see you as "Black" first.

You're nothing but an American with money. I know it tears yall little feelings to pieces to hear that but, it's the truth.

To the poster above who thinks he blends in around Kingston because he dresses down, you don't. All my years living in Ja I have never mistaken a yankee for a local. All yuh skin too bright and soft yute. You have the yankee glow. There is no hiding it.

If you moved around Kingston rough parts untouched consider yourself lucky, and dont try it again. You didn't fool anyone, you simply got really lucky.
Jamaica is a terrible example. Even the locals have to be careful moving around Jamaica. I’ve been shown nothing but love in the places I’ve been abroad and I’ve never heard of a black man being attacked anywhere abroad.

Hell even people from these countries who've been gone too long are food.

Yup. :francis:

Even in the US, people can tell when you're not from their city.

Matter of fact, sometimes even in different neighborhoods within your own city.

:pachaha:

Colombians can tell foreigners by our size too
Pause

Because Of The shyt In Our Foods We Have Larger Frames Then They Have In Latin America.

Our Shoulders Are Always Broader Than Theirs

How tall are you? A lot of these places (especially Columbia) the people are smaller than Americans and can tell you’re a foreigner just by your height

Definitely.
There are definitely things they put in our food here in America. :pachaha:

How do you move to a country you don’t speak the language
Plenty of people do that and pick up the language. The best way to learn is immersion after all. It sounds like this guy made the mistake of moving to a dangerous area which is a no no. That’s like an immigrant moving into a Hood in Chicago. Like another poster said it sounds like he did little to no research prior to moving there.

I been watching brehs in Colombia on YouTube for a couple months now. SPK lifestyle fitness, Ace Live etc.

They were told to tuck in their chains, don't make their valuables shown in plain sight etc because people will rob you.

A shame what happened to the brother though.

It's messed up what happened to him, but it's Colombia, not Costa Rica.

That being said, you always gotta be aware of your surroundings even when you're in supposedly "safe" areas.

I know that some of y'all have extensive families in the islands, or in other third world countries. If you talk with them frequently enough, then you'll know that these things happen very frequently out there. They happen much less to Americans, but it still happens.

He should have considered the Philippines instead.

Between the owner acting funny, not knowing the language, and people still living in the place that the owner gotta evict so now they gonna be looking at you like this rich a$$hole who got em out on the street, I wouldn’t of put $200 in on a situation like that let alone $200,000.

Them people were never planning on leaving the apt. The owner was probably just waiting for the right opportunity to take his down payment and send a hit.

Sounds like the breh in this video had absolutely no common sense. I mean heck I'd rather wear my gold chain and know that if it comes down to it dudes will just take your chain on some petty theft type shyt and there's a good chance you might live to see another day. But to go out there with 200k in your pocket and start buying up shyt out of nowhere is a sure fire way to attract the most dangerous type of criminal...the smart/organized type. Heck with 200k in your pocket the government employees themselves will start plotting on you. The minute you go to the land registry office checking records you are food.

You want to start a business in one of the most dangerous countries in the world you better have lived there a few years, learned the language, their laws and who to trust.

You can’t even flash an iPhone in these countries let alone actual gold. fukk is wrong with people, you wearing 2 years salary in front of wolfs
A lot of people don’t get this. One American dollar is worth nearly 3700 Colombian pesos. If you’re walking around recording with your iPhone, you’re flashing something that costs more than their house.

As long as you follow basic rules you’ll be fine. The scaremongering in here is largely coming from people who don’t travel. You’ll be solid, just don’t do dumb shyt. And be careful about the women.

I know white guy in his early 30 who has purchased a couple of apartments in Medellin within the last 3 years. He married a Colombian woman before moving out there, and at least that city is more used to tourists. I'm not sure what kind of money he has, but I think he just bought apartments, not a whole building. At the time that I knew him better, he couldn't speak Spanish.
