X-men 3 is hands-down the most disappointing movie I've ever seen in theaters (And I lived through all three Star Wars prequels).

They butchered the GOAT X-men storyline and dumbed down so many great characters.
Pretty much everyone except Wolverine was either depowered, killed off, left out, or treated like an afterthought.

I actually payed to see it.

Neither 2 nor 3 held a candle to KKI but I watched all 3 faithfully growing up. Storywise 2 and 3 should have been reversed.

Add the Next Karate Kid. I don't think there should have been any sequels. It was a classic and you couldn't do much after 1

I don't know about that. It just WASN'T Friday, Next Friday (and Friday After Next) was good/great in its own right, and Mike Epps was amazing in it as well. It just wasn't Friday and Chris Tucker left and a lot of fans were so stuck on that they won't give anything else credit. It's an Illmatic/It Was Written dynamic. Next Friday is a classic in its own right.

It was too much comedy involved in the later versions and the way they were shot too. If it was shot like Friday and had some serious parts then it would be a different story. Mike epps was funny as fukk too tho but sometimes it was overkill. House Party 2 is another example but it was as bad of a impact as it was going from Friday to like Friday after next.

They where different type of movies but I dont think it was to much comedy they just weren't serious but where still good.

This one broke my heart when I was 16! I was hyped as shyt to see it cause I loved the first one. I’ve NEVER been more disappointed sitting in a movie theater in my entire life to this day!!!!!!!

I was 11, and even then, I knew the movie was trash.

Oh c'mon, breh! They were a step down from the originals, but both were still fun. Now JP 3 and Robocop 3 on the other hand....I hope whoever wrote those movies had to return the money that they were paid.
