Saw is a horror classic.


Bad sequels don't suddenly make the first film less.

Halloween for example is a horror classic but an awful franchise.

Ehh not always true. In cases like the Matrix and the Hangover, everyone got so sick of the shytty sequels that the reverence for the original was also damaged.

The Exorcist 2, all of the RoboCop follow ups, Godfather 3, all of the Superman sequels sans 2, the Alien sequels sans Aliens, Staying Alive, Rush Hour 3, etc. I know people like to hold that movie up the pedestal, but I personally didn't care for The Dark Knight Rises.

Toby sucked as Spiderman, but the movies received acclaim due to how seriously studios took them. The budgets were huge and cgi was done well.

but acting wise, Toby was shyt. Doc Oc was spot on, but nothing good came from that film besides the train scene.

If we're talking statistically, then it loses there too.

As for the Wiz...yeah, let's not mention that atrocious film ever again.
