Exactly my sentiment but I watched the entire thing the whole time like how do they even green light this shyt lmao

I read an article a while ago that mentioned that M. Night projects get green lit mainly because he can get them done on time and has a good track record of turning a profit. He has been self financing his past few films so it's low risk for the studio. From what I remember he only has 1 financial flop.

Split budget of 5M and made 270M+
Glass budget of 20M and made 247M+
Old budget of 18M and made 90M+

So basically M. Night gets the movie he wants to make and the studio gets a profit.

Amazing after his string of flops prior to split. Guess you have to respect the man knows to how go old school and make cheap but expensive "looking" movies. It's ridiculous how some of these flicks we see cost 100 million yet they look worse than Trap does and its budget was 30 million.

I think we all can make fun of him still because his movies are terrible but he's caking.

Even crazier when it takes them three years to shoot, but probably would have done better just making something simply good focusing on the cheap script stage instead of aiming for expansive spinoffs and franchises

M Knight is a good idea guy, dude can cook up a great premise. But is terrible at executing said idea. The last good movie he had was Split lol.

I wanted to like this movie so I did lmao. But if I start asking any questions it all falls apart. So many things were just tooooo convenient. This was just a long ass commercial for his daughter. Not mad at nepotism and she is credited as a composer on another movie so she is talented.

Better than most m knight films as of late. It was fine…essentially a decent thriller that would be an entire letter grade better with one or two casting differences.

The main detective / profiler is an absolute vaccuum…that old bag. Imagine that being an actual even b list actor. God forbid an a lister. fukkin Kara Sedwyck would’ve made this better. Amy Ryan would’ve brought it up. Pablo Schreiber would’ve made this great.

They should've spent a little bit of cash on that role…the daughter too imo
