We can make the assumption that the LGBT community didn't approve of liking Chappelle and likely harrassed her to suicide. I say this because there was a porn star who suffered a similar fate earlier in the year who got harrassed to suicide after stating that she wouldn't perform with men who have done gay scenes due to the HIV/AIDS rates caused by gay performers in the porn industry.

Chappelle will perform at the Aztec Theatre in downtown. The show is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. with doors opening at 8 p.m.

This has nothing to do with Dave and he shouldn't say anything. But I think he's smart enough to know that.

Nah I got the point, but I'm not talking about the cancel crowd I'm talking about being a human being, not PR.
All that 'fearless' talk works both ways. If they didn't stop him from telling his jokes, why should whatever they have to say stop him from mentioning someone he just used for a bit in his special dying? If that's what he wants to do (not out of obligation or appeasement) he should do it.
If not that's his prerogative as well, but in my mind even if you want to reduce it to a PR issue, the optics look a lot worse if he just ignores this all together.
Part of the reason Dave left his show was because some of his audience (cacs) were being irresponsible with his comedy, which is happening again in the other direction. Daphnee was correct about Dave's jokes, he wasn't punching down at anybody, his observations were humane and even inclusive of the trans community IMO.
But a lot of 'alt right' idiots got behind his comedy as a campaign to "slay the PC dragon" and have tried to co-opt his message like it reflects their beliefs. He shouldn't be punished for that but that's what is happening.

I vaguely remember this and forgot her name...
The gay mafia and cancel culture faux outrage far left went in hard on her for refusing to work with gay men...
She had a valid reason for it to which had to do with STDs which are rampant in the porn industry...
They drove that woman to committing suicide and the fakkit MSM brushed it off as just another dead pornstar...smh
