It seems extra hard to make it these days. Kids are starting so early doing pro style drills since all you have to do search it on youtube. You got to have some special natural gifts on top of all the work.

True. I just seen breh set a new record going 0/10 from free throw and got inspired.

Single no kids and the oldest NBA rookie was 35. Not putting all my eggs into this, I still get money and have other stuff brewing… If you have no belief in yourself and your own dreams just say that.

nikka you 35? Never played higher than HS and you said yourself you need to gain 20-30 lbs...at 35. Why TF would any reasonable professional team invest in you over someone damn near 15 years younger?
I know you said you not putting all your eggs in this but how you expect to make it if you don't put your all into this?
Take the eggs you placed in the go to the league basket and put em back in the carton cause you a few eggs short of a dozen upstairs :mjlol:

Yeah, I remember stunted growth was trying to make the NBA late and they wouldn't take players seriously that didn't have at least division 1 experience.

QUESTION :

did you play aau?
How tall are you for real?
What is your vertical?
Are you a dribble drive specialist and textbook skill finisher under complete duress?
Why no college?

Just copy those drills and then be athletic enough for a quick first step to the rim, after that it’s all about how good your natural feel is for the game and creating your own style. Imo playing YOUR way is the best way to improve because it looks like mfs are doing literally whatever works, there’s some guy in Europe who shoots off of one leg every time.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
3-and-D is the way in breh. The league wants guys who can play a role. Quick high release to get em up on volume, knock em down off-the-catch, and develop the footwork to run off-screens. At that point all you need is to play good defense and you've got a long career

It's good to have some level of handle, but teams aren't interested in ISO guys unless they were a lotto pick. Duncan Robinson, RoCo, JJ Redikk, Georges Niang, Davis Bertans, etc.
