How in the worls can SSJ1 Goku fight this guy in space, but he casually whoops Chou Gohan, SSJ Gotenks, and Good Buu?

Why isn't vegeta ssj2? Where is my electricity notating a SSJ2. if he misses these basic thing's i'm going to be upset.

Vegeta was never able to become ssj2 on his own, only the majin boost allowed him to. And perhaps because he is a god, he allowed goku to breath in space because earth is to fragile for Gods to fight.

No vegeta went ssj2 over the 7 years between cell and the buu saga

the babidee charm made him a little stronger than ssj2 goku.

Vegeta fought kid buu as a SSJ2 at the end

the anime is non canon and not used in debate.

In the manga, there was no pod fight inside buu, goku and vegeta split, vegeta crushes the ear ring, they freed the pods, super buu appeared in his body, vegeta took out fat buu, they escaped.
