The rumor around town is that the Lakers are actively looking to trade Pau Gasol to the Knicks for Amare Stoudemire

:whoa: this is substantial reporting to you?

My prediction is that Amare is going to come back and play well for 5-10 games or so and then get traded.

The lakers lose if they trade Gasol for him, but it appears that they really wanna get rid of him.

the fuhrer Collin Cownerd :mjpls: brought up a good trade today, (its made up not a rumor or anything) that fits better than this scenario. Derozan + Bargnani for Pau
it fits Salary wise, but I doubt Toronto makes a deal with the Lakers, I think they Salty about Nash, But you can't never put anything past Kupchak , if kupchak was a part time real estate agent there would be a few NBA GM's with deeds of ownership to the brooklyn Bridge

Dog, they just signed DeRozan to an extension. They're not trading him for an old ass Pau Gasol. That trade does not make any sense for them.

So Say By To Shump Too Right? For This 40 Year Old Soft Euro?

Pau is soft the same way Melo is soft

Amare is charmin soft

There's no way we can retain ronnie brewer next year. Why not entertain it?

You can call him soft but he'd be the best rebounder on this team and we can run more traditional half court sets with him in the post
