Ain't a WR alive who actually wants to play under Purdy if he can choose where to play

I know he's had his best season, but I'm sure he's thinking, what could he do if he had Stafford or somebody throwing 45 times a game would do
Aiyuk just had a 1300 yard season here

he wants to go to Raiders where hed be clear #2 after davante on a running team with rookie qb, aoc and/or jimmy g and zero chance to sniff the sb again ? :scust:

if anything he might be pissed about kyle, not giving him enough plays and how they did Trey

nothing a lot of money cant fix....so Im gonna wait until proven otherwise. Deebo seemed to be a goner in 2022 too

Then absolutely go get a OL.
We all know we need that. It was a big need this last offseason too, no Niner fan was "that's cool, we should be ok with McKivitz and Burford as our starters", specially with no real back ups. Feliciano was a very late addition during the season and he took the job from Burford.

Seeing how it was my point... Let me clarify

He doesn't need to hit the 55 yarder cause we're up by 1 in the first place.. It was 16-13, we MISS the xtra point... They come down and tied it at 16... We come down and kick to go up 19-16... They come down and kick to tie it at 19-19 and send it into OT

IN MY HEAD: It's 16-13, we MAKE the xtra point... They can no longer come down and tie it with a 3... they HAVE to score a TD. If they do decide to just take 3... We are still playing with a lead on our final drive. We can waste more clock and do nothing, waste clock and kick a fg, or not score.... But either one of those thing result in us still having the lead even if we go three and out... If they decide to score and don't get it, we bleed the clock and win... If they score a td, we still have the last possession, we can tie it up with a fg

It's just like the Rams game where homie dropped the INT. That wasn't a PROMISED win if he catches it. But the game is played completely different, with us only needed to bleed clock to win. Once Moody misses that XP, the entire game is about stopping the best qb ever from getting to the 40 so the best kicker in the nfl can tie it up... Without that, everything matters
I guess....we've never shown to be a team that can bleed the clock in these types of games though. In your scenario we are probably down 20-17 and A LOT of clock to kill to keep Mahomes from scoring in the last possession.

I think we made so many mistakes and wasted so many chances that trying to point THE ONE is pointless. There's easily 10 plays that could've meant more points, less time on the clock and a W :yeshrug:

I agree with you. It is silly to place all the blame or even most of it at Moody

But when you're drafted high as hell, you miss all preseason, you lose us games in the season, you are a constant worry and the most unreliable player on the team.... It stands out when you do it again in the SB

Just imagine if one of the Chiefs drops a TD pass and they lose... It wouldn't be his fault they lost. But we'd all say "I knew this shyt would show up again, they been dropping it all season"

He’s not real number 1 go let him go Get o-line TALENT. we need safeties, LB right guard, right tackle, center, and CB. we’ve got the picks

Aiyuk is the best receiver we have man. Guard isn't a pressing need, you get a good tackle then that helps the guard out exponentially, center isn't a big issue either and I'm more than content with Hufanga and Brown at safety. Our real pressing need is a LB stop gap if Greenlaw is out for the season and a CB. Lenoir isn't bad, he's played really good in the post-season, what we need to sure up is the slot. If we can find a good outside corner and bump Lenoir inside then you'd see a BIG difference in our secondary.

Question for yall 9ers fans. The broadcast made a big deal about Kyle calling a timeout and telling the DC to switch a play.
1. Was Wilks that much of a drop off from Demeco?
2. Yall think yall win with Demeco? Could he have overcome the Greenlaw injury and hit Burk better?
3. Has he had bad calls all season or something? The way Romo made it seem, he had to basically take over the defensive play call on that down.

1. Tough to say. Demeco was in-house and he knew how to hype players up. Wilks was forced to run what Kyle wanted instead of fully doing his thing. One thing I'll say about Demeco vs Wilks is that while neither blitzed much here, Demeco blitzed usually were well timed and Wilks have not. Wilks was known as someone who likes to blitz a lot and Kyle hired him under oath to mostly get pressure with four.

2. This loss isn't on defense, period. Defense played its ass off in the first half. If the offense gets a nice 14 point lead and St doesn't fumble we prolly win this.

3. He had one very bad zero blitz call at the end of the half against Vikings. Kyle also doesn't trust the D at end of halves. Basically no matter if they play aggressively or passively it seemed like a common theme that D would let in points on last drives of halves.

Tbh I'm surprised they already saying Wilks will be back. I don't mind him being back at all, just surprised given the optics appeared that Kyle was not happy with Wilks for a lot of this season.

Here we go with the draft talk about what the team needs. The team had all that it needed. Every team can say they need to strengthen this or that position. But what does it matter if your coach calls a 3rd quarter like he did in the SB?
shyt. You know I wanted that bum gone for a minute.

The line didn't cause the loss in no way shape or form. But a RT is definitely needed. It's off season. Draft talk is all that's left:manny:

There's too much cynicism in here. We could be in a bad situation like Dallas or the Eagles. Or 28 other franchises. If you're ready to get off this train then leave... we don't wanna see you in next year's thread

Y'all would be much happier if y'all employed the betting strategy that I did. The Chiefs won me hundreds of dollars. Now I'm taking some of that and betting on NBA futures :mjlol:
