objectively, one issue I see with Kyle Shanahan is he handcuffs quarterbacks to the playbook . Brock surprisingly plays very well off script and I did not see a lot of trust that Kyle gave to Brock resulting in a very rough first half.

In a tight game like the NFC conference or the Super Bowl your quarterback needs to have the ability to make a decision on their own and trust their arm and their read.

I didn't think so. We had a younger team, cap space and were coming from important draft classes. We have none of that now for obvious reasons. After losing to the Rams, built this roster to compete in 2022, 2023 and 2024. We have 1 year left and then we gotta rebuild. If we are able to draft incredibly well in the next two classes then you are right that we will be in the mix once again. I'm not betting on it because drafts are mostly a crapshoot.
We got like 40 million to carry over if I'm not mistaken right?

I agree. I'm just saying that I don't see how we can solve that unless the Dolphins want to give us good picks for him, lol. We probably gonna have to wait till 2025 when his extension ends. It will be interesting to see if he can have a "contract" year though.

Weirdly enough draft picks are not super important. If we can get a 2nd rounder and future picks it would be worth it to shed salary. I am not a capologist to guess if it makes sense. But I would do the homework.

To compete in 2024, which we all agree is the last year of this squad. We gonna need to rebuild very soon, just like the Rams had to. And the only solution to that is the draft.

Plus I'm not confident we'll have the injury luck we've had the past two season with Bosa, CMC, Kittle, Fred, Trent, etc.

Again, that's on paper. I don't see Kyle getting rid of Deebo easily, it's gonna have to be a "steal" kinda of trade.

Ronnie Bell is gonna have to step up, and that's IF Kyle puts him on the field. I see a lot of upside in him but he had some big miscues this season.

As much as i hate to say it Deebo is a utility guy that we can utilize in space. He was more dangerous when we lined him up at RB and gave him more carries. But he wanted to play wideout more and defenses were better able to key in on him. I like Aiyuck but hes a strong #2 behind a chase, a jefferson someone of thst ilk. Kittle was casper tonight and on top of that he got hurt 2 smh

Aiyuk a #2 now? Wha?

Deebo looked bad against man coverage. He isn't great at running routes. They gave him the ball a couple of times at the Los and then stopped when he got stuffed.

Kittle getting no looks was criminal.

Juaun and Conley were fighting like dogs

I hear you. But it's clear the front office needs to find a way to sift through the truly valuable players and the expendables while improving the O-Line replacing the guard and tackle. Choosing less talented but healthy players and revisiting the last 3 draft classes.
