Trade 3 Firsts and a 3rd for a 4th Brehs - Official 2023 San Francisco 49ers Season Thread!!!

This is the first SB run I actually took the time to listen and read a lot of the coverage about the game, not sure why.

It does seem like the consensus on offense is that Aiyuk is not gonna be a factor because Sneed is gonna be on him (and he's gonna disrupts his routs, which is Brock's kryptonite) and we'll depend on Deebo and CMC doing their thing.

On defense everything points to us needing the same type of overhaul Wlks did during the bye week when we faced the Jaguars and did all kinds of new shyt and confused the hell out of Sunshine.

I think my biggest fear on offense is Chris Jones battling down too many important passes and one or two of them getting picked. And on defense is Pacheco averaging 5 yards per carry and helping Mahomes (and Reid) sustain 7 minute drives that eat the clock and the scoreboard.

I'm not even pessimistic about the game, I do think we can win it if we rise up to the occasion. It's not a guaranteed we will though, and Mahomes is on the other side but for some reason I'm like fukk it, whatever happens, happens. That was not the case for me the last 2 SB losses.

That's really the only fear I have.

jones does worry me, this offense line isnt built to stop him. they'll play man to man, its up to deebo and kittle to force them into a zone defense. if sneed is on aiyuk you really expect too much i guess. lots of variable, they have to score, the defense cant be expected to stop mahomes

cmac has to also be a big part of the passing game, if they're playing man he has to beat the lb everytime

I remember the last time we played them in the SB

For 3.5 qtrs we played them well. I hope Kyle can reproduce that and not collapse in the final 6 minutes
