We have two focal points. Deebo is #1 for DCs in the pass game and CMC is #1 overall, but I have watched you post enough to understand you see football. You know Purdy favors him for better or for worse. Any other QB with multiple capable WRs is getting their #1 pass weapon more targets regardless of the coverage. Chase has way more targets than Boyd. St. Brown has way more targets than LaPorta. AJ has way more targets than Smith. Tyreek has way more targets than Waddle. It makes sense that Kyle's preferred QB would like the lesser of the two WRs. It is what it is.



I'd prefer they not pay him nor Chase and draft one of the WRs from Texas (Worthy preferably) if they want weapons, but Aiyuk is getting the money. Lynch has a history of paying folks......overpaying folks to be honest. Has there been a player he hasn't paid yet? I'm one of the few that didn't want them to pay Bosa and they did it. Aiyuk is a #2 who's agent is loving life right now.

Yeah Purdy definitely favors Aiyuk. But how can he not? He's wide open A LOT. That's the stupid excuse idiots were saying that Purdy wasn't an MVP because Aiyuk is wide open.

Aiyuk is third in the league in big plays despite having like 2/3 of targets of most of these guys, and the least yac out of these


He's the guy they get huge chunk of yards with just route running. There's no way they let him go.

He's the perfect Shanahan receiver. His downfield blocking is nasty, difficult to replace that combo of his traits. Add in the chemistry with Purdy, they have to re-sign him.

Lol Aiyuk is a top 15 receiver in the league at worst and accounted for about a 3rd of the teams total offense. He isn't really replaceable like that and he is clearly a target Brock feels comfortable throwing to. He is a good blocker and an elite route runner on top of having one of lowest drop rates in the league. If we draft a receiver it would be to upgrade from Jennings. We will pay Aiyuk and it will be a lot because there will be a bidding war for him.
