I noticed it with Kittle earlier and here. Christian ain't need to jump there, but I have to imagine he assumed there were defenders... within 20 yards of him. If he knew there wasn't, I'm willing to bet that ball is placed where he woulda been if he'd just kept running. Much like the ball to Kittle in the first that he pulled in with one hand. If he'd kept running it woulda been comfortably chest-level - I bet you.

I saw the play again and it kinda made sense, CMC just wanted to give Brock an easy target on a scramble play. It's just another example of Brock just being a killer and looking for the TD every time. He basically saw all that space and wanted to give CMC the score
