"Any given Sunday" is 100% true, anything can happen in the NFL. But that does not mean Arizona is a trap game.

If Kyler plays his ass off and we suck and get beat it's not gonna because they are secretly a good team waiting to get a W over us because we are the favorites.

I'm less concerned about the n°1 seed than just staying healthy tbh.

I think the #1 seed would be huge because of the extra week of rest.

and it would give them time to install whatever crazy new nonsense Kyle has thought up throughout these last few weeks.
I mean, of course it would be ideal but pushing for the #1 seed might mean running everyone to the ground and that's how injuries pile up. This team has showed it can win everywhere when healthy so that's my main goal towards the playoffs :hubie:

How Mitchell get 3 snaps a game and still need to be on load management :snoop:
It looks like CMC was a godsend in multiple ways - if we were relying on Mitchell to bellcow this team's run-game we'd be proper fukked. Mason is a fine #2(#3 really. Deebo is RB2). Might be time for Elijah to hang it up.

Team should draft a short slot receiver in the late rounds, get him on a strength program and a bulking diet and get him ready to play RB as a project backup.
I'm not too worried about Mitchell being out since Deebo is RB2, Mason's okay, Kittle is RB3, and scatbacks are a dime a dozen in the draft or undrafted signings.

I just mean if they hadn't made that CMC trade and they were looking at Mitchell as the #1 - with how integral the run game is on this team to set up the PA - I don't think there's any way we are sitting at the #1 seed this late in the season. Mitchell been out multiple weeks and he isn't even starting.
He seemed like he'd be a great RB-by-committee piece, but we'd be in hell if he was the main runner. It's be 2021 Deebo RB or we'd be S.O.L

I think it is still worth the calculated risk. Had we been the 1 seed either of those previous 2 years we hoist a lombardi at least once.

In all our 7 SB appearances, we’ve never gone to one without having a bye week. That #1 seed’s even more valuable now since only one team in each conference gets a bye

I agree that this squad can win everywhere when healthy. But that extra game could make the difference between going to the SB and running outta gas in the NFC title game like in 2013, 2021, and 2022

Kyle is great at getting running backs in third:skip:

I think with the way they want the offence run at this stage, it'd make sense to get another RB/WR tweener. Easier to teach gap patience and pass pro than route running and soft hands I figure so I leaned toward a project WR.

But ultimately that thought process is a luxury.
If this team don't go OL with one of their top picks this year, throw the whole damn draft away :snoop: If we still starting these Gs next year we gon need an intervention.

@Busby peep this!!

Man Sherm a real one… he really is a fukking Niner :mjlol:

He all but said fukk that ring in Seattle

Marshawn: “Where you get your bowl at?!”

Sherman: “They also CUT ME!”

And there it is right there…

He still feels VERY bitter about how that organization did him after he got injured. Add that to how the whole team crumbled after that Super Bowl and how Pete played favoritism with Russell.

Coming to the Niners was like fresh air for him..

I don't think we were running out of gas in 2021, we just chocked that game up because both our HC and QB were fukking pathetic in the 4th quarter, just like in the Superbowl.

2022 was the healthiest we've ever been since 2019 except for 1 position, which was the death of us as we ran out of 2 QBs in like 5 minutes :dead:

team does have a bit of an issue with mobile QBs due to pass rush discipline. Kyler could be an issue.:ohhh:

...but he probably won't be. Just need to get out of this W with no injuries and hopefully up enough to sit some folk by the 4th. Get ready for the actual challenge: that Ravens game

This is a different team. Will be a cakewalk.
