Ugly ass win, Kyle's performance in that 4th quarter was fukking pathetic :pacspit: Tampa's defense was hobbled and we played like we were an underdog NCAA squad against a ranked team :scust: :smh:

Glad to see the pass rush show up in that last drive and close the game out.

Short week against Seattle scares me to death when it comes to injuries :sadbron:

Aiyuk is perfect for Brocks anticipation
yup.
Jimmy crutched on Deebo because mans couldn't throw downfield and the offensive production hinged on getting the ball out fast and letting 19 make something out of nothing.
Brock's game is always looking to the second level. Things break down and bruh don't even see them drags and short ins. He looking at that intermediate, behind the LBs before the S area. And Aiyuk eats that area up. Also keeps the safeties back and honest which helps the short pass/run.
I just dont think the team is going to be able to get someone that replicates that while also being helpful with blocking.
Young QBs having a consistent target they can mesh with accelerates their development mightily.

Dead last thing anyone in the league not in Texas wants is Stroud getting someone like that. So doubly helpful to pay the man: keep him here for Brock, and keep him tf away from a rising team coached by someone BA knows already

So who gets cut?

At this point it's going to be Chase or Huf as far as extensions, long term players probably Armstead. If we resign Aiyuk it would actually save us a lot next year or 2 tbh. Then we'd probably sign Purdy to one of those ridiculous deals like Mahomes signed in 2 years. By then we'd be able to clear more space and I personally only expect us to lose maybe one key piece. I would love to re-sign Young but I don't see how we do and keep Huf and Aiyuk without losing Arik probably.

I see us going all out for about 3 seasons then rebuilding. So we possibly could sign Young to a 5 year deal amd just kick the can down the road some more and hope the cap goes up enough to keep us out of salary cap hell.
