You right and you wrong….

The only think I’ll say is it takes a WR under Big Eared Goof reign about 2-3 years to really get to the level we need them to be.

Would it be smart to lose them years vs keep Aiyuk? We still waiting on Grey to be something.

Then the risk of getting another Dante Pettis, Aaron Burbridge, Trent Taylor

Well that's the other side. They pick poorly at WR. Yes and No. It's hit or miss. So far it's been Gray and Pettis that have been the real busts. I mean you can say Hurd, but I believe he was an injury bust. I think he would have made it big if he stayed healthy. Bell can be the diamond in the rough, but the big eared Goofball doesn't develop players. You either have it or you don't.

They could draft and sign a veteran WR. I just don't see how they afford Aiyuk to begin with after the Bosa deal. I just don't think he's worth it. :yeshrug:

TYRONE GA!
We better have a Superbowl within that timeframe or we may need to have that discussion about new coach

And @FaTaL and @yseJ are gonna be out the Gold House as President and VP

Honestly…. I don’t know how they survive THIS SEASON if we don’t win

@King Kreole
#Kreole2024

All jokes aside…. They do a great job with contracts….. hopefully they figure about a way to continue to keep the team in tact

Bring Back

Players have way too much pull on this team. Start running SBs then you can make some of the ridiculous demands and comments I’ve seen. Scust.

Sounds like Trent shouldn't play :francis:

Either Wilks is an incompetent a$$hole (which would be weird because I don't remember reading having that kind of rep) or our defense on some diva shyt :dead:

There's nothing wrong with y'all defense other than y'all corners

9ers problem is running the ball
Every team defense succeeds by not being on the field much

I think it's a question of, how imperative is he to Brock's success. Because letting him walk just to have Purdy regress to the point that they end up needing to overpay some journeyman QB would basically be a net-zero, financially, as opposed to just paying BA to let him be Purdy's intermediate route safety blanket. The man isn't a 'break the game open' receiver... here. But he's statistically the most open WR in the NFL, and if he's that on a team that's more pass-focused, how long will he not be that kind of player? Man got 1k yards as the 3rd option, while the 1st and 2nd options... didn't.

I think there's a lot of long-term danger in undervaluing the contribution. Deebo is Deebo, but he's not a down-the-field route running receiver. Him and CMC on the field force a safety crashdown or an 8-man box, which is partially why those intermediates are open consistently. But without someone to work them... you just end up in situations where the team can only run the ball on ridiculous end-arounds and disguises. And once you're there... there's no PA game.

Kittle could alleviate a lot of the strain a BA loss would give, but... the OLine situation is way too dire for him to be anything more than a 6th lineman most plays, and if the team get's a new hole at LT at the end of the season, that's getting worse - not better.

if Danny Gray has panned out, there's a case that the team could work without BA. But as long as the heir apparent #2 is Jauan Jennings... yeah. Team can't afford that kind of hell. Not with the defense regressing and the only surefire way to win with this makeup is scoring 30. You can't do that with slants, drags and RB dumpoffs for a whole season - shyt ain't feasible.
Kittle could alleviate a lot of strain.

Also Eli Mitchell and Mason could. But no, run CMC into the ground.
