I saw Purdy's college tape, he improved just from college to preseason last year. What ever the coaches are telling him he's eating it up. He watches film he said he is trying to improve his own tendencies. People are trying to talk him down because they missed on him full stop.

I also think he suffered from a lack of playmaker around him. He was obviously talented buy looks like he got by on talent and fundamentals alone. They probably gave him a playbook and that's it in college, the most coaching one on one he's ever gotten is probably from Griese and Kyle.
