It was an average film. but because it wasn't complete like Episode 1 and II people made it out to be better than it really was

still had terrible dialogue, cartoonish CGI and an uneven script that did a horrible job connecting it to the original trilogy. but the fact that the light saber battle was so epic and that people thought it was gonna be the last Star Wars film made people overlook the flaws

If he wanted to fellate over his own creation then dont release it in theatres. When a property gets this big it no longer belongs to the creator, but the fans who've invested in it for all these years and helped it become successful.

he's isn't the costume designer,set designer, director of photography etc...

He just had a vision, believe it or not, the series will do fine without him.

your talking about the movies I am talking about the expanded universe and other stories. Even the video games you mentioned have a writer.
