This was an easy one, even someone as vapid as Toure should have no problem with Cornel's antics.

The story notes that when West talks about Obama, he uses the language of a jilted lover. This article just proves how big of an idiot Toure is because he builds his whole repudiation of West's designation of Obama being a "Rockefeller Republican" by listing progressive moves Obama has made like the Affordable Care Act (which is legislation to the right of Richard Nixon by the way), the Justice Dept. defending Affirmative Action in court, etc. while ignoring the record of Nelson Rockefeller.
Rockefeller was for welfare; was pro-Affirmative Action; was pro-unions; pro-choice; pro-environment; pro-immigration.
Toure wrote a whole thesis based on the current crop of Republicans instead of the type of Republican that West was comparing Obama to so his opinion on this matter is irrelevant.

Tavis Smiley is mad because Obama never appeared on his lackluster PBS show that no one watches. I'm a huge PBS consumer, and I can easily recall the number of times one hand that I've seen his show.
