Touch screens in cars was a bad idea. They’ve gone TOO far

Also capacitive buttons are TRASH and imprecise.

Buttons i can use while keeping my eyes on the road.

This is a factor i consider when buying cars now actually. Never buying a fully touch screen vehicle. i at least need a volume knob.
Usually they have buttons on the steering wheel for that though. Its only a few select models that od on touchscreens entirely.

My truck has a huge touchscreen.

The only thing I worry about is anything that is software based has to receive firmware updates or it gets glitchy or outright inoperable over time.
