The game evolves. Offenses will always look for an edge and once they get one then defenses will change the counteract them. This is more apparent in college football and the CFL where coaches are more apt to take chances with strategy/offense/defense and it isn't as incestuous as the NFL game is.

Don't be mad at the offense be mad at the d-coordinator. Most d-coordinators response to the hurry up is call the most vanilla defense possible which makes it even easier for the offense. The downside of the hurry up, which is they can't run a variety of plays. You can't call complicated shyt when you're calling the play in 4 seconds. I'd combine that with the fact that you can jam up WR's with the only restriction being the QB still has the ball. My defense would fukk them WR's up and blitz instead of playing some weak ass zone like K st is doing and most defenses do against Oregon's hurry up.

my hate started with OU doing it, oregon has taken it to another level. defenses need to be given more time imo. this is ridiculous. but i understand offense sells tixs.
