This is a legit issue. And I am glad that you mentioned it.
It is starting to become incredibly difficult for millennials/ genz graduates to begin their careers for the reason you just explained. Even harder if they are black.
I truly hope this doesn't lead to the emergence to Some sort of trump like politician that strokes the flames of white supremacy, and explains the broke, joblessness, of white folks on immigrants.
I have noticed that white folk are being pushed out of the GTA, and moving into remote areas, not going to college, and being ravaged by opioid addiction. If they can't afford to buy a home, or even get a decent job I wonder how it's going to pan out

They are the ones protesting and demanding thry don’t pay rent. Watch those protests....the ones who show up at the mayor’s house. White people. Who’s complaining about affordability? White people. Minorities have long had issues with affordability and complained with no results. But white people are complaining now and you’re seeing some policies to help.
They’re also blaming immigration. Thry are not completely wrong though. This current government is bending over backwards for immigrants at the expense of Canadian born citizens. Chinese have come through and crushed the buildings buying up property and pushing prices through the roof. Allowing foreigners to buy multiple properties and not getting taxed on it has led to a lot of the housing issues. I mean, it’s helped me but I wish I didn’t need to invest in property.
Going back to your point though, if it’s harder for white Canadians to find jobs and housing, it’s gotta be 10x worse for black people.
We need immigrants so I don’t have a problem with immigration but lib government is going to run this shyt into the ground. I’m already a black breh in IT. I always had an uphill climb. shyt just gonna get harder as companies focus on costs rather than value.
IT has employs a lot of minorities and immigrants....but the execs are predominantly white. It will remain that way for some time. My company offshores the basic shyt to India. Thry make a lot of mistakes but thry work hard and are cheap. It’s like 15 of them We could have brought that shyt in house but would cost more and Canadians complain and are lazier. So value-wise, makes more sense to bring in house. But the cost benefits are all tha matter.
Companies should be discouraged from offshoring shyt. That’s why real estate takes up so much GDP. We need to manufacture more shyt here and curb the offshoring. The one thing Trump parrots about that I actually agree with.
The young brehs coming up gonna have a long uphill battle.
