Here's my take you're listening too much to right wing propaganda and letting hot takes from social media affect your judgment. The fact is Indians only make about 6-7% of population in USA and about 4% in Canada. In fact indians aren't even the majority of Asian population in Canada, that goes to Chinese and Filipino. Yes in recent years both countries over did the whole student and H1B visa situation but they're still a tiny miniscule number compared to the overall population. You feel this way because the area you're at is heavily Indian and that's cause Cac Canada only really has 3 livable cities where everyone feels comfortable to move to.Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
The media had the same bullshyt rhetoric with the caribbean migration in the 70s, 80s and early 90s then with the Somalian migration of the early 90s. Now they have they same rhetoric with indians. What these cacs don't realize is that indians in Canada are almost like Mexicans they'll work all your low paying jobs with relatively very low violent crime rates. Canada has a population problem in so much that it's a country with vast resources with little workforce to support it. Those indians will be supporting your pension payment for the future.

White kids don't want those jobs. It's as simple as that. Also they're privileged enough to know someone that will help them out getting a unionized while having a low education.

Ofcourse it is breh it's 1.4 billion people fighting for survival. Only the ones with means and an education usually make it to the States. I can't really speak for Canada but from my research its fairly similar. Most folks in the IT and computer sector are indians. I know in recent times they have abused some of the student visas but it's a temporary loophole that the government should close. You can say the same thing about most 2nd and third world countries around the world by the way. Eastern Europe, Latin America, Caribbean, and Africa.

I'm noticing this too especially with young black men. Now that the majority voted right wing, that's become the mainstream. Before it was taboo and you might get called a racist, get fired from a job, etc. As an American citizen with family on both sides it's quite sad to see as 40-50 years ago we were in the same position. Now they welcome us cause our numbers are smaller. Once they finish with these immigrants they'll be back on our case trust me.
