Top Obama aide Ben Rhodes says Obama was way more aware of race than people realized

I give him props for being first brotha elected President,beautiful family etc..... But to echo this his tenure was disappointing in a way.First term I can understand being nice guy not rocking the boat but 2nd term he should have put his foot down alot more.When that congressman shouted "you lie" and Obama didn't say nothing back you knew the disrespect would keep rolling in.Dont get me wrong he smart guy,charismatic but as politician was modern version of Jimmy Carter .

Bottom line, I think he got caught up in the celebrity element of being president. He was adored by the media and Hollywood- invited to every DC cocktail party, Hollywood fundraiser and silicon valley/studio executive yacht excursion. Dude just forgot about the people that voted for him in the first place.
The fact that his closest allies in the end were upper east side cacs like Ben, Rhodes and Josh Earnest instead of guys like Van Jones (who he started with btw) tells you all you need to know.

I've said on here repeatedly in multiple threads - Obama has Branch Dividian/Jonestown followers

they simply can not criticize Obama no matter what, even under the anonymity of the internet - and many of them would kill and die for him and michelle

suck your teeth and roll your eyes all you want, this is the 4th member on here in the last few days that has done this to me

This thread shows me that most of you guys don’t know who controls America, it ain’t the President. The CIA is the strong arm of the power brokers and if you think they are going to just let some Black guy become President and turn all radical you are out your damn mind.

The FBI infiltrated all of our movements because Black power is a threat to the security of the establishment, facts. If Obama started pushing for Black empowerment he would have been another JFK. Why would you as a Black person expect another Black person to be radical against the same system that is housing him, driving him around, and providing security for him?

A lot of y’all think 30 seconds ahead and not a second farther. You don’t think about the long term ramifications of your actions...you’re impulsive and act on emotion.
