Storm has no business being in black panther

Co-sign. Both are dope characters, but marrying the two of them off screws with the status quo of both storylines too much IMO. I'd rather see an MCU X-men reboot that lines up closer to the classic stories of the silver and bronze age, before Marvel started falling off around the time of the comics crash of the 90s.
Chris Claremont (the guy who wrote the original X-men comics in the 70s/80s/early90s) says it better than I can:

"Well, the problem I have with it is, who gets top billing?

Because that’s the function of a king’s wife is to produce little princes and pricessees, right? The first thing that Charles and Diana did was have a child.

Their job was to have babies and be guarded and I think the challenge with any marriage relationship in comics—but especially a marriage of leading characters in comics—is answering the question: “What comes next?” Does Ororo become a supporting character in T’Challa’s book? Does T’Challa become a supporting character in Ororo’s book? How do you strike a balance between them? What do you do five years down the line? Because the practical reality is that the audience gets older, the creator gets older, but the characters can’t get older and the moment you bring a child into it, that automatically marks time."

Give me Storm and Forge instead. :feedme:

When Storm found out that Forge was the one who built the neutralizer gun that took away her powers :lupe:

Conservatives need their "what about black on black crime arguments", even in the Marvel Universe :wow:

Blind bet- Amandla Steinberg or whatever her name is. She said she dropped out of BP1 because of colorism. Hollywood lies. What if it was really because this was the role that she was selected for?

Young Storm=more movies/spinoffs/origin stories

Amandla does not have the look for storm. And honestly neither does that other girl that's playing her right now.

Storm needs to be sexy, etc. Tall, powerful, with a presence. All the black actresses who fit that are too old now.

Above the fray.
I read Xmen as a kid....and still remember the Mastermind storyline and the issue when she adopted the mohawk.
Back then, Iman was the ideal choice for big screen Storm.

N'bushe Wright could have gotten the nod when X men finally made it to the big screen instead of Halle.

Now, I think Jonalle is as good a choice as anybody else.

I think... out of all the choices listed Janalle might be the worst.

She does not have to look at all.
Storm has always had a strong face, high cheekbones, model features.

Janelle looks like a child
