In terms of college play?
Luck and Tebow were incredible college quarterbacks. As an Oregon fan I couldn't fukking stand playing Luck and thought he'd be an all-timer in the pros the way he did everything right.
Manziel should be #1 on the list - he had swagger and guts but his talent level was never close to what it was portrayed as. Hackenberg was straight trash in college, I have no idea how he got hyped, ever. Terrelle Pryor and Brady Quinn could low-key be on this list too.
Going semi old-school, if you want to talk about a completely average player being lifted up by a GOAT team, you're talking Danny Wuerffel.
