In terms of college play?

Luck and Tebow were incredible college quarterbacks. As an Oregon fan I couldn't fukking stand playing Luck and thought he'd be an all-timer in the pros the way he did everything right.

Manziel should be #1 on the list - he had swagger and guts but his talent level was never close to what it was portrayed as. Hackenberg was straight trash in college, I have no idea how he got hyped, ever. Terrelle Pryor and Brady Quinn could low-key be on this list too.

Going semi old-school, if you want to talk about a completely average player being lifted up by a GOAT team, you're talking Danny Wuerffel.

I think Burrow proved he was worth the hype both by his performance in college and what he managed to do with a horrible supporting cast in the league during his short time at the helm.

Dumbass thread.

Overrated in hindsight or just wasn't as good a Collegiate QB as advertised. Because those are 2 VERY different things. Yes Tom Brady is the GOAT NFL QB, but put his ass in college at QB for Texas for the game vs USC and Texas gets stomped. 2 very different games.

So again, please clarify...Hindsight or As Advertised in College

Christian Hackenberg, and I know he wasn't projected to do shyt in the NFL, but this guy was considered on the same level as Trevor Lawrence coming out of high school.
