Literally anyone off the FA scrap heap is better than Baynes going forward. I'm still pissed Sergio didn't give Donta Hall a try just to see what he could do with Boucher/Lowry/Norm. Hall looked better with Todd, Kuminga and Green in the G-League, not so much with guys like Brandon Ashley or Bobby Brown out there. Baynes was absolutely garbage in every game he coached and we needed another big out there

I wonder how many games we lost could be attributed to overplaying Baynes?? That certainly accounted for our shytty start. You can argue we lost last night’s game during those four minutes Baynes played in the fourth quarter. Dude is just a complete liability in pnr...worse than Valanciunas was. Except unlike Valanciunas, he can’t score or rebound well.

This is it. On offense Valanciunas would give you something proper on good percentages. The announcers last night made a HUGE deal about Baynes having a double double ..this is how trash this guy is. Everytime I see him launch a three I wanna chuck my remote at the TV because it's a guaranteed brick. Think it was in the fourth as well I seen this guy miss a dunk at the rim

Phoenix won every game in the bubble without him and oubre should have let you know how horrible he is

We lost the game in the last 4 mins when Lowry Boucher and Norm all stunk it up..2 missed FTs some assinine late game decision making and late game bad D....the guys who played well actually wet the bed at the end....

Yeah they did but I’m not gonna blame a 34 year old Lowry who is low key starting to look his age, Powell who doesn’t have the iso ability or experience to close or Boucher who is shouldering more responsibility than he should.

Last night is squarely on the coach and Nurse acknowledged that himself. Up 15 with seven minutes to go in the game needs to be a win. Subbing out the unit that ran up the score arbitrarily to bring in Baynes who has sucked all year and Stanley Johnson who just didn’t play well yesterday minus those two late threes wasn’t putting the team in a position to win.

My problem with Nurse is his inability to stick with what’s working and to quickly adjust from what’s not, as well as putting units on the floor that have only one scoring option. And last night was a perfect example of that. Also, for some inexplicable reason, we had Bembry initiating offence in the fourth quarter.

I dont give Lowry a pass for last night based on his age....age has nothing to do with low IQ decisions....ive said all year Nurse has been as bad as this team all year....i think his defensive schemes are very overrated.

I have gotten flack for saying that Boucher should have sat for the last 4 mins of that game last night....You cant have him on the floor when you need to defense to close out a game,hes as big of a liability as Baynes is on the defensive end....He should only be on the floor late game in certain matchups,such as when ur playing a team like BK and you need constant offense you will have to live with his D and hopes he hits 3s...but against Atlanta and Detroit where you just need stops at the end of games he shouldnt be on the floor....Hes a bad PnR defender he stinks on the glass he is a very low IQ defender in space...

No coincidence last few minutes of the game Hawks were picking him out in PnR sets....

We really dont have much in the way of options for bigs right now though breh. I agree Boucher isn't a strong defender outside of weakside blocks but we are crazy thin up front.

Yeah I really didn't understand having Bembry running the offense, biggest head scratcher I've seen in a minute. Nurse has been making some very questionable calls and I'm not sure what the rationale is.

Baynes is pain. I don't get why Nurse plays him so much. You have Kyle literally directing him where to go on his rotations and he still stands there like a statue. Jesus Christ. At this point, I rather have RHJ at the 5 again
