Of course Giannis is better but Ayton was a bum in the finals esp on the defensive end,hes a clumsy ass mufukka...That had ALOT to do with the Bucks winning 4 straight and ur right Booker/Paul backcourt dont mean shyt if you cant defend in the front court against another teams best player whos a 4/5...Suns could have beaten most other teams with Booker posting b2b 40 pieces but not when you cant defend Giannis...

I have maintained that Phoenix getting to the finals was aided by injuries IE Jamal Murray,AD,Kawhi so i dont have to deep dive into them losing...IF Kawhi was healthy they wouldnt have been there period...
And that why I'm all in for a front court.

We blew, before it has even begun.

I think Mobley is fools gold but we will see.

Yeah I would stay the fukk away from Mobley. He is soft.

If both Green and Suggs are gone and Mobley is available, the Raptors are gonna pick him. Yall might not want it (and I'm not high on dude either), but I don't think Raptors will pass on him. :jbhmm:

Yeah, same. I don't see him as a superstar at all, more of a complimentary player. I don't really see him as a game changing 5 like some are saying he could be, but he looks like a smart defender who's quick and he has some touch. If he becomes another Bosh, that's probably good enough for Masai.

Speaking of guys who are getting heavily hyped, I'm definitely not a Barnes believer. I've watched him a few times. Good defender, but he didn't show anything on the offensive end. He can't shoot. He can't create for himself. If you're taking someone in the top 4, he better be able to score on some level. Almost every time one of these "if only he could shoot" prospects come into the league, their shots almost never changes. Kawhi and Jaylen Brown are exceptions. I've seen a ton of these "jack of all trades" prospects without a jumper come out, get picked in the top 10 and didn't amount to anything to anything than a role player at best (see: MKG, Corey Brewer, Wesley Johnson, Julian Wright, Justise Winslow, Stanley Johnson, etc).

Barnes reminds me of Boris Diaw. If the Raps were still in that 7-11 range, I'd consider taking him (I'd probably still take Bouknight if we were still stuck at #7) but at #4, that's a reach. I actually think Kuminga is dropping to that #7-11 range btw. There seems to be a lot of pessimism about him these days.

I don’t like guys who can’t shoot in this nba useless.
Plus Barnes is a sf

raps need playmakers and guys who can score

I’m starting not to trust masai might be pulling a fast one on us

The funny thing is that I've seen him compared to Giannis and Draymond. Giannis, the once in a lifetime athlete with a freakish build and a development track that NOBODY foresaw and Draymond, the glue guy who just played with three of the greatest shooters in NBA history and had an awful season when he was finally on his own two years ago.

Barnes is nowhere close to Giannis athletically and skill wise, and if he comes here, the best shooters are FVV, OG and Gary Trent Jr :mjlol:

These draft bloggers are just hilarious :russ:

Mobley is just lucky to be the only big in the draft. But he's not really special imo.

The hype around Barnes is he seems to have separated himself from most of the class.

We should just Draft and Trade the pick.

Mobley has his warts but all of the top 4 guys have warts....Cade is too slow,Green is too raw,Mobley is too soft and Suggs is too boring...You still gotta pick one of them...
