As a kid NBA on NBC on Sundays was magical. Sometimes they would hit you with a triple header.

Knicks v Heat 12 o'clock game
Pistons v Blazers
Lakers v Spurs in the night game

Momma would make that Sunday dinner. Pops ran to the store early to get some extras like soda, or fresh bread for them sandwiches later on.
