Mc Hammer 1990
Eminem 2000

As far as pop music goes.
As far as straight hiphop, Snoop Dogg 93, Big and Pac 96/97, Eminem 2000, Nelly 2000 and 50 cent 2003.
Big & Pac did sell half of what Hammer and Eminem show but they x:ed out the 50% pop and kids Hammer and Em had.

Black people fukked with hammer, I'm saying people who didn't really fukk with Hiphop liked hammer. I don't really know though, I just know from what I've heard and observed after the fact.Just like Eminem in 2000. I remember my white mans who were listening to metal rock and shyt, girls who were listening to Britney Spears were all of a sudden Eminem fans in 2000, when his hype cooled down a bit they were onto the next genre.

Bro are u serious? I was in high school when that dropped and my sister and her friends used to Stan him. Listen to his first cd it's mostly girl songs and some club tracks.

He was big because he was a sex symbol. I would slap someone in the face if they tried to put nelly along side PAC and snoop.

Musically I wouldn't put him next to Pac and Snoop. Sales wise at his peak he doubled their sales, so I would.

I don't know where you are from but cats were fukking with Nelly.
Before he was doing songs with that Kelly Rowland
he had

and after the Rowland song he had

I voted for 50, I never seen the hype for GRODT or The Masscure with any other artist.

Too young to Remember Ready to Die & Life After Death dropping, but based on what other people said both those albums had a major buzz as well.

Don't be so quick to discredit Nelly, of all the rappers of the past decade, he easily had the biggest run out side of shady.

I would go based on the strength and length of their prime.

Eminem - 99-04
Nelly - 2000-2004
DMX - 1998 - 2003
Pac - 94-96
50 - 2003-2005
