There's no doubt in my mind he'd be ready to go at the start of next year, but the O's are being ultra-conservative with him because we've had 1st round pitchers get hurt in the recent past.

Calm down. Let's let him face some competition first. Or throw more than 6 innings.

He was far too advanced for the SAL league. He'll probably breeze through A+ in a month or two.

Lets see what he does in AA before we start saying he's ready. He's throw a TOTAL of 35 professional innings. Let him get hit a little, let him bounce back...let him become great.
