A big chunk of his “Receiving Yards” come from gimmick/tricky type of “Passes”, you never seen the niners play? You can put all the WRs in the top 10 on any other system and they’ll get you 1000 receiving yards, Deebo Needs a Gimmick offense to do that. He’s an exciting player because of his versatility, he had ONE great season (everyone on that top 10 list has Multiple 1000 yard seasons) ….. as a pure WR, he’s not top 10.









Oh yeah don’t forget the screen passes too.

Madden weighs stats differently per position to calculate your overall rating, so Deebo is likely absolutely loaded in stats that would make him a good to maybe even great RB, but lighter on the ones that would've boosted his overall as a WR.

Every Madden has a handful of players that almost inexplicably plays way better than their overall rating would suggest, especially if you get inventive with position swaps and play calling, and it seems pretty clear Deebo is going to be one of those guys this year.
