Rodgers being there is strictly off reputation.

1. mahomes
2. Allen
3. Lamar
4. Burrow
5. Herbert
6. Stafford
7. Purdy
8. Dak
9. Goff
10. Hurts

I need to see more from CJ and Love. Lawerence too. After that who cares about mid and bad QBs.

I would move Burrow down to 4 and move Allen and Lamar up 1 each
I would swap Dak & Herbert but I understand there's some protection going on here
Feels weird to not have Purdy top 10

My hot take is Stafford is ranked right where he should be :sas2:

Rodgers is definitely reputation based but we know when he's on, he's legit as good as anyone that's ever played. The question is if he's past it or not

That dropoff for Hurts in people's rankings from just last year :heh:
Hurts is a 1 year wonder to this point
Certainly not bad but right where he should be if that one season was an outlier

Burrow shouldn't be 2, Allen is better
Allen is more available, he's "better" for that...other than that Burrow is better.
Expecting Herbert, Tua (#14 is really low honestly), Love and Kyler (#17 is way ridiculous) to go up in rank while Burrow, Allen and Rodgers fall.

Biggest riser will be Kyler. We forgetting Arizona pulled in MHJ and a terrific draft? Same goes for Russell Wilson who isn't even mentioned but the Steelers maybe had the best draft in the league.

A lot of these QB's ranked low got more weapons, better coaching and an actual offensive line this offseason. You know, that stuff kind of matters.

A lot of QB's in that top 10 have teams who got worse or have situation that changed around them.

My take: a lot of those names in the top 15 are about to get replaced. Anthony Richardson, Caleb Williams, etc. are not only talented but going into great situations and going to number up. Packers adding a younger, more effective running game and a Left Tackle going to do wonders for Love and the Packers.

Kirk Cousins going to be feeling a lot of pressure with Penix Jr. and that usually doesn't do well for the older QB the second he starts screwing up.

Going to be a few more years (2027) until the next wave of "Super QB Prospects" from college hit so some of these younger QB's and QB's who still haven't lived up to their potential won't be feeling too much pressure.

Who of the 13 ahead of him is Tua certainly better than?

imho at least Purdy, Prescott (probably about the same level) and I'd say Rodgers is on the way down.

A lot of people seem to forget how shattered and unhealthy Tua's offensive line was the 2nd half of the season.

I understand every team deals with injuries, but Tua and the Dolphins' offense was very different once those injuries started ringing on that OL. Prior to that Tua's numbers were in a different tier compared to many other QB's at that time and all you heard about was "genius offense". We know the Tyreek effect, but even his numbers dropped when that OL started getting impacted. It all starts with the health of that OL. At the end of the day Miami doesn't have a Penei Sewell blocking for their QB and running game a lot of names on that list have at least a consistent or deep OL.

Armstead is still the best player on the offensive line, but dude is older with knee and back injuries:

He isn't certainly better than any of those 3 and we'd have to presume Rodgers is washed to drop him to that level.

-Stafford, and Rodgers also won Super Bowls
-Goff, Hurts, and Purdy also played in Super Bowls
-Burrow should’ve won an MVP the season Bengals went on their Super Bowl run, but duke was carried throughout the playoffs.

What makes Burrow better than Allen or Jackson?
