Yeah I mean its a great album but her self titled and Renaissance clear
I don't see the Missy inclusion as an agenda push. She's been on these lists for over 20 years. I still remember Under Construction dropping. I was pleasantly surprised at how dope it was because I hated "Work It", but it is her biggest song. Under Construction, like Kast's Stankonia is the crossover album. It put a lot of eyes and ears onto Missy that weren't on her before. Up to this point, Under Construction was her 4th best behind her first three, but was the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful, so that is why it ends up overrated.
Going through the list, I'm seeing some albums that arent there:
OutKast-Speakerboxxx/Love Below- This is one of the definitive albums kf the 00's. Do we get an artist like Frank Ocean without Love Below? Speakerboxxx is a sprawling journey through the past, present, and future (no pun) of Atlanta rap and Southern Hip Hop as a whole.
Justin Timberlake- Futuresex/Lovesounds- I get he's pretty much canceled, but this is still a glaring ommission especially when acknowleding him in the writeups of albums that made the list. Then to include Britney's Blackout. That album doesn't happen with Futuresex/Lovesounds, Nelly Furtado's Loose, or Timbaland' Shock Value.
