i wanted to be better informed and see if there's any worthy flicks i've never seen. the final results were pretty damn predictable. no real surprises. though i figured DTRT woulda made it

It's not even well known or just well known. Just in general. It's 10 years worth of movies. And I was born 6 years into the decade and was 4 years old by the time it was over so naturally there are things I missed. Whether they're well known or not. I'm sure there are Oscar winners from the decade I haven't seen

I mean from the 1980s oscars best picture noms I haven't seen: Ordinary people, the elephant man, tess, the elephant man, chariots of fire, on golden pond, the verdict...i mean this list could go on and on lol
