What about Ben Hur?

All those on that list are relatively minor flops with small budgets to be honest.

Ben hur was the biggest flop and it's not even on the list

i see they didnt make the budget back at the box office, but to call those flops is questionable to me....all the movies in that list had low budgets, and made close to the budget back (within 5-10 mil)....after dvd, streams, blu-ray, etc. i'm sure most of those made the budget money back.....what about a movie like ben hur?...that shyt had a nice size budget and tanked like hell....that would be a flop to me....

Ben Hur's budget was $100 million and it made $94 million worldwide.

Seems like it should have made the cut based on Forbes' own criteria.

why?...it was a low risk, high reward kid's movie that cost $20 mil...it's video games that cost more than that movie did...hell, i'm sure the making of the movie was put into the budget for the video game that came out with the movie....

It was. the movie used assets from the game and vice versa.

I thought it was worth the risk.

20 million isn't that big of an investment and there IS potential in ratchet and Clank as a film franchise but the movie was apparently shyt.
