its kinda crazy that this is even a thought. my uncle used to watch speed racer as a kid. my mom used to watch gigantor and kimba the white lion growing up. we may not have been the largest supporters, but black kids were watching them with everyone else. and thats not even talking the dragonball z explosion. so many damn dragonball hawaiian shirts in high school

I remember this white dude I was on shift with talking with talking to my Asian coworkers about anime. I was telling them animes I watched, and he tried to shoo me away as if I didn't know shyt about anime. That fukking idiot. He would also talk to me about reggae out of no where just because I got dreads and he'll say shyt like "uh...I dont mean to bring it up because you're black.."

God, I hated working there.
