I figured there would be a Tool thread on this board, might be the only Metal band that transcends with music lovers across all genres, lol.
Haven't gotten around to giving this album a proper listen yet but I am already dying at the reactions from metal snobs worldwide. I don't think there's any other fanbase that can be so goddamn critical about little shyt like the sound of a hihat three minutes into a song.

He was on joe rogan talking about how tool albums happen. He just keeps checking in bc they take so long writing music so when they finally have a melody he does his part in between his other 3 bands and multiple businesses. Dude literally mails it in

No doubt the album is all about Danny and Adam. Makes sense Maynard takes a backs seat though, dude is 55 and can't do the same screams and vocals he used to do. I missed at least 1 track with him going off but it is what it is, the album still sounds incredible
and I still like Maynard's "singing voice".
