LOL@every radio station but espn talking about this story this morning. What a fukking joke, man.

ESPN/Nascar damage control in full effect.

Not to defend ESPN but your dealing with a channel that will only talk about sports they televise. That channel manufactures their own stories for the leagues they cover.

They never talk about hockey since they don't have a TV contract with the NHL.

Imagine if Stewart was a black racer and he killed that white dude. There would be death threats all over the place:sas2:

Well it's making them look bad.Everyone else in america is running a all day cycle and discussion on this story. This is a once in a decade or more type of story.I understand he was on the track. But the kid was not in the middle of the track. And i thought there was a caution out?Why the fukk is Tony Stewart going that fukking fast.If you ask me he saw that kid before he even came around and in his typical Tony style was like "Ok motherfukker i'm going to show you something"and tried to rooster tail dirt on that motherfukker and fukked up.I may be wrong but to ignore it with no discussion on it is the weakest shyt i ever seen.

That's ESPN breh.

You're talking about a channel that had a Tebow initiative that made it a point to mention his name every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day at one point. If this was and NFL/NBA/MLB related news, you'd already be sick of it because they'd have nonstop coverage.

Can it still be considered white privilege if it's white on white murder like in Tony Stewart's case?

I don't know if this incident has anything to do with white privilege or not, but white privilege doesn't even have to have a crime involved. White privilege just means that being white affords you certain benefits in society that go beyond what would normally be afforded to people that aren't white.

Not even taking into account the racial double standards, he intentionally ran someone over and has a reputation of being a hot head and even threatened to run someone over in the past. He needs to be punished for what he did.
Man...I can't even imagine if this dude were "Jamal Stewart" and had a history of lashing out at people.

But of course, it's difficult for black men to even "be hot headed".....we are so over policed that any sign of passion or intensity usually results in strict penalty if not jail time.

So watching that video...I don't see how anyone can't think it isn't at least vehicle manslaughter...

Was there intent...we may never know...so since we might not ever be able to prove it...can't really call it murder...

But was there negligence...no doubt...and i am assuming that nascar tracks are treated like real world roads...where the pedestrian has the right of way...all the other cars that came around before Tony did avoided the dude...at worst it's "every other driver was paying enough attention to not his this guy in the road, except for Tony Stewart, who indeed hit him"...not sure how that is not looked at as at least negligence...

Will be interesting to see how this goes because the good ol boys of racing down like Tony at all..
