There was many years where I wasn't a Tony Romo guy...and rightfully so. There were valid reasons for that. But he earned my respect back when he went toe to toe with the Broncos back in 2013 in a shootout with Peyton Manning in a game everyone thought we had no chance in winning. That Broncos team was scoring so many points and blowing everyone out all season and Tony went blow for blow with the MVP Peyton and almost stole one. We lost by three in a 51-48 slobberknocker. I had to salute Romo for being a leader... showing grit...not lying down and playing the best game of his career against a 1st ballot hall of famer and a Super Bowl team. He had 5 touchdowns and 506 yards. I'll never forget that game...Tony earned my respect. After today I might have to go buy me a Romo jersey. This time he made me a bonified Tony Romo fan.
