Isiah Thomas is one of the most overrated players of all-time. I'm mainly talking about how he is rated and perceived today.

It's funny because back when the Pistons were dominant and champions, people always questioned who was the best player on the Pistons between Dumars and Isiah. Those Pistons team technically had no standout superstar or all-star on their team but for whatever reason Isiah gets all the credit now a days.

That genius left out the fact that Isiah was the one who scaled his game back for the greater good of those Pistons. If you want to narrow it down to 2.4s and all that shyt, look at Isiah's statline and how the points declined with the team's ascendance.

With shyt like this...if you want to be obtuse and just rewrite history no one's going to be able to stop you because Isiah is not playing again and unless you were there to watch him in his prime for a meaningful sample size you won't understand his value vs. Parker's. You'll always be able to have an excuse because all you have to work with is numbers and highlights, which you can just say are a part of the story.

So no one will be able to stop someone who wants to be right about something like this, but no one will respect a person with this kind of opinion either
