One of these shows (Cornette i think?) said edge not used to "shoot"/ non scripted promos and wasnt expecting/didnt like Stark calling him "bug eyes". That is what he used to be called when he was bullied when he was younger. They mentioned on the pod that Edge got his "receipt" during the match though. Said Edge game Ricky a very stiff big boot or something.

It feels like they need to humble themselves and have their weekly shows in smaller venues. I think PPVs are usually fine, so can save the bigger arenas for that
ROH should be running like NWA Powerr was at one point. Their weekly TV should be in a studio setting, intimate, and at most be like Full Sail. It would help them having their fans filling a small building with energy instead of trying to make a big building seem less empty. It would also differentiate it noticeably from AEW, and might allow some of the personalities they have there to flourish in a room their starpower is actually able to fill.

Promos in front of the live crowd and not backstage. Eddie Kingston would do better on the mic. Shibata'n'em other strong style folk would do better too because the volume of the strikes. It would just do everyone there better.

So of course they ain't gon do it.

Isn't AEW Dark filmed at the old impact zone? If so, they should move ROH at that venue, and then work their way up to travel outside of the studio for PPVs.

Something needs to change. Right now ROH is just Collision with handshakes and less fans.
No.
It's worse than that.

Lowkey it's not that far removed from the b*stardization that was WWECW, compared to it's legacy :ohhh:

  • Sure, some of the original people are still there. But it's almost none of the actual stars from the original
  • The ones that are there are older, moving slower, and really just there to get the shyt they originally did back over.
  • The new people putting in work there aren't being showcased enough to have it make any impact on the bigger show they're in the shadow of. And it'll only be when they get drafted into the 'main' of their company that anyone will give a shyt.
  • Their titles treated as C-tier anywhere but their own TV
  • When they show up interpromotion with the 'main rosters', it's never with video packages or showcases. It's 'WHO?!'
  • They have their top champion in random matches losing to guys they're trying to build to the 'main roster' main event.

It's WWECW status brehs :snoop:
