You know Dave is down bad when he's referencing wrestlers from past generations "rolling their eyes" at not taking the most money available to kind of act like Mariah May wanting to be in WWE stage as silly.

How much more well known is the average WWE wrestler than AEW wrestler? Curious what the difference in money that's being discussed is 1.5 million a year vs 10 million a year? Or is it 1.2 vs 3.

Tony ain’t have shyt planned for her for this reign outside of the stuff with Toni Storm. He even somehow managed to take her turn on Mina-Chwaaaaan’s fine ass and made it feel like filler.
Some of it is on Mariah. I won’t pretend she doesn’t have some kinks that need to be worked out as a character/promo. But Tony legit gave her nothing as champion to work with

They fumbled this angle imo. It's a classic angle that gets done all the time because it works; balanced/updated version of the Dibiase/Virgil angle where fans end up seeing Mina get over on her in the end after Mariah's a bytch and mistreats her. Then you have an angle down the line where Mariah is getting fukked up and you can hype up them reuniting too.
