One of his latest clips, Cornett ended basically saying that he’s glad Cole , Punk and Danielson are there.

5 mins after saying they ruined Cole by being with the Elite :mjlol:

Someone wanna rundown Jim's critcisms of AEW? I've always been a big fan of his.
He hates Omega doesn't think he is great in the ring and hates his promos and way he talks
Hate the young bucks for all there flip stuff in the ring and how they think there the Hardy boys of the late attitude era
Same with Lucha bros doesn't care for the Lucha libre type style
Guys being to small or not selling enough
Everyone always doing the same type of spots in matches so they don't mean shyt

You forgot the Dark Order/Jurassic Express which is probably the aspect he hates most. Especially Dark Order.

Thanks breh

Yeah that makes sense. He's always had his hard preferences. The last one I definitely agree on. People get desensitized to shyt eventually and I can definitely see that happening.

I Think even TSC agree Marko Stunt sucks i don't even see the appeal if he was Rey Mysterio that's one thing but he not that all just an annoying midget
I think some of his criticisms are valid sometimes. I particularly like when he breaks down exactly how he would have done a promo or a segment. It's at least interesting whether you agree with him or not.

I hate the hokey match spots and the fact that everybody has to be paired up or in a faction.

I even said it in the All Out thread that guys are getting up way too much too quick and should sell more and i think the whole playing dead til 9 spot then jumping in the ring spot needs to go in the bushes

it makes much more sense to be trying to sell the previous spot that got you on the floor and fighting/crawling your way back into the ring then that spot.

Agreed. He's definitely coming around to AEW more as his shows go on whether he realizes it or not. :leostare: Especially with the recent inclusion of guys he likes like Cole or Punk.

He's always gunna hate the Bucks tho. :deadmanny:

This is something that’s been going on for a long time. When I got back into Indy wrestling I noticed this. It irked me a bit, but now I’m just like :manny:

shyt, Stang no sold a power bomb through a table. :mjlol:

That’s just how it is. :ld:

I don't think he inherently despises AEW. It's just AEW has been mediocre until very recently and Cornette just spews shyt with not filter, but he says a lot of the same shyt about WWE

What makes you say that?

If anything it shows Tony is comfortable with criticism and understands it can only help

The alternative is walling yourself off from the world besides two other people that think what you tell them to

DLuUOMF.png
What's wrong with that, PAL?!?!?!

Even though he's been critical of AEW, Cornette has been very complimentary about Tony Khan the person as of late. He's also been praising some stuff AEW has been doing recently too. But I think Cornette will continuously shyt on Omega/Bucks/Orange Cassidy no matter how over they are with the audience :heh:

AEW's gotten a LOT better since they started bringing in more talent.

A lot less of the Sonny Kisses, Joey Janelas, Rihos, etc. . . with prominent roles.

They're being pushed to the back now that they have real talent.

Casually forgot to mention his dad is a fukkin billionaire, but ok

makes it seem like he worked the territories and scraped his way to the top, when really he's just rich af and bought a buncha talent

This. AEW's issue has always been that Tony basically bought his way into the business and didn't know what the fukk he was doing.

The show has gotten a lot better as better talent has shown up, but still he's only where he is because of his daddy's money has allowed him to buy his way into the club

Agreed. He's definitely coming around to AEW more as his shows go on whether he realizes it or not. :leostare: Especially with the recent inclusion of guys he likes like Cole or Punk.

To be fair, The Bucks are trash:francis:

Smh I don't get why Tony Khan doesn't get some respect from some of you? Who cares if he dad is a billionaire...he's not the first one to try to start a company to compete with WWE that had some serious money behind it. He just happens to be the most successful at it because he's actually that good. He is also involved with other businesses and sport teams. It's actually impressive what he can juggle while still getting AEW to where it's at. People can trash him all he wants but Khan and the Elite had a vision and it worked out. They were successful from the jump especially with a weak lower card but that's hard to hold that against them because they got the best they could from the indies. Now they are getting bigger names it will weed out the lower card and we will see how interesting this will get.
