Saw this last night at the IMAX from receiving a free screen off Fandango from ordering tickets for Avengers: Age of Ultron on there. I'd give the movie about a 7.5/10. Was entertaining. Surprisingly heavy-handed environmentalist message throughout it, to the point where it may be perceived as preachy by some, though I didn't really mind it any. Special effects was mostly dope, though there was a scene or two where it was very noticeable to me. Story was decent, not mind-blowing. Acting was solid I thought. Oddly enough, it could've shown more of the actual Tomorrowland as the
had actually been kinda turned to ruin. Well, not exactly ruined, but it's kinda bleek, unlike how it's initially shown in the movies and in commercials, as it's initial purpose (a land of ideas and creation) has kinda been put to rest, as they feel the earth isn't to be saved and it doesn't even seem too populated either.
All in all tho, it's an entertaining flick and my family and I enjoyed it, though it's definitely the type of movie I can see coli members shytting on, lol.
I was really disappointed in this movie because I tend to expect more from a Brad Bird film.
Its not that it was even a particularly bad movie...it was just there.
